Yeah, no doubt about it, I should've been
more forthcoming with regard to the
significance of the assassination of King
Abdullah of Jordan in 1951. And I shall,
indeed, in a bit.
First, however, I want to follow up on my
appraisal of President Barack Hussein
Obama. As regards his nomination for
Supreme Court Justice, I'm predicting the
President will live up to his reputation as
"No Drama Obama". I'm predicting the
nominee will be a white dude,
undoubtedly liberally oriented as well as
rich in credentials as a judiciary stalwart
with a broad range of experience.
Here's the kicker. This white dude will
be plucked from a judicial district in the
scarlet red erstwhile Confederacy. And I
made this prediction as of the date I
submitted this piece to The MOST,
specifically, Saturday May 2, 2009.
Okay, I realize that I've put myself in a
situation, wherein I just might become the
laughing stock for this particular chapter
of Mensa. Please lemme eyedee myself
as A Alexander Stella of Susquehanna
Depot in the Commonwealth of
Pennsylvania. If yer goin' go, go all the
way - in for a nickel, in for a fin ..
Now, I should like to tackle the
significance of the assassination of King
Abdullah of Jordan. The monarch met up
with Allah within the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Just so happens, the site of this particular
place of worship is sacred to both
Muslims and Jews. Oh, yeah, Christians
think of it as holy.
In a way, the assassination resonates in a
rather ethereal realm with the crucifixion
of Christ. By the bye, this concept is far
from original with me. I owe it to a
disbarred lawyer ... well, the guy
claimed he was such. Pardon me. That's
a story for another time.
Through the assassination of this
monarch, the spiritual relationship
between Arab and Jew was nullified.
And a profoundly spiritual bond between
Jew and another people came into
existence. In this case, the American
people are that people. Here's my other
prediction. It won't be long before
AMERICAN Zionist Christians glom
onto the idea.
Please don't ask me to provide details.
My orientation comes down to this
sentence: "only what can be proven true
can be true." I just ain't qualified to do
so. Matters that belong in the realm of
the spiritual are beyond my ken, and alien
to my disposition.
